Here are three new videos I’ve edited. Part of The Globe’s comprehensive cocktail coverage. The Parisian The Port Berry Sparkler The Clover Club This last one is the only one I tried making personally. A word of warning: the video asks you to make what’s essentially a lifetime supply of raspberry syrup. Not necessary. Slice that recipe in half. But don’t chince on the sugar, like I did, because the syrup won’t thicken. Overall, it was a decent but very ginny drink.
This video was edited by me for The Globe and Mail.
Here’s a video I shot and edited for our ongoing Cooking With Grace series. I tried to make the camera movements and focus a little more kinetic. Previously I’ve used a tripod and gone handheld, but after watching Ubyssey videos I’ve seen that you can really push focus and get mobile. But since I’m not shooting with a 7D the varying focus doesn’t work as well. Ah well. Happy with the video.
